| Mumbai – Indian Stock Market rebounded today with benchmark Sensex climbing 398.44 points while Nifty jumped 135.65 points following buying in IT firms and foreign inflows. The 30 stocks BSE closed the day at 82,172.10 while NSE closes at 25,181.80. IT stocks like HCL Tech, Infosys, TCS and Tech were in gains ahead of quarterly results. Apart from IT stocks, Reliance Industries, UltraTech Cement, Tata Steel, Bharat Electronics, Sun Pharma were major gainers today. On contrary, Axis Bank, Titan, Maruti and Tata Motors were the laggards today. As many as 2,099 stocks closed in green while 2,088 closed in red on BSE. 171 stocks were unchanged on BSE today. According to exchange data, Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) bought equities worth 81.28 crore yesterday. |
