Mumbai – Indian Stock Market showed moderate gains and closed on Green again on Thursday, October 23, 2025 for the sixth straight session. The Sensex surged by 130.05 points to close at 84,556.40, and the Nifty rose by 22.80 points to finish on 25,891.40, led by buying in IT and Banking shares.

Infosys (+3.86%), HCL Tech (+2.43%), Tata Consultancy Services (+2.24%), Axis Bank (+1.90%), State Bank of India (+2.01%), Kotak Mahindra (+1.24%), Titan (+1.15%) and Tech Mahindra (+1.05%) were among the major gainers today.
However, Eternal (-2.88%), UltraTech Cement (-1.75%), Bharti Airtel (-1.41%), ICICI Bank (-1.35%) and Reliance Industries (-1.17%) were among the laggards today.
